HOW DETEMINED ARE YOU TO BE FREE?

 The Fight for Human Freedom
(Fighting like people determined to be free.)

There are many forms of bondage.

  1. Human slavery is talked about most, but it is not the only form of human bondage. (Human trafficking) Women’s Ministry fights against human trafficking!
  1. Addiction is a form of human bondage. (Abuse of drugs & alcohol) Teen Challenge fights against addiction!
  1. Depression and anxiety are forms of human bondage. (Depression or anxiety can be a biological or psychological dungeon) Christian counseling like EMERGE ministry fights against depression and anxiety.
  1. Spiritual bondage is one the most prevalent forms of human bondage. (Lest you think there are no more unclean spirits…) LifeSpring fights against Spiritual bondage.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty, true freedom
  1. The Spirit of God is able to free you from all forms of bondage.
  1. Yes, the Spirit of God inspires godly people to help the cause of freedom.
  1. The Spirit of God brings peace and satisfaction.
  1. The Spirit of God brings character strength.

Issue the orders, sir, and we will storm Hell
(having the right attitude for spiritual warfare!)
  1. Just because you’re a Christian doesn’t mean you will never have to fight.
  1. Our struggle is not against flesh & blood. (Powers, principalities, and authorities in high places)
  1. What does Christian warfare look like?
           a. It looks like a people determined to be free!
           b. It looks like a “never give up – never surrender” intercessory prayer.
           c. It looks like radical faith daring to trust the wisdom of God
           d. It looks like the application of Scriptural principle to our chaotic life.
           e. It looks like extreme love for God and neighbor. Not my will but thine.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." ~ Jeremiah 29:11-12
